In the next phase of a major renovation, the Farmers Branch Manske Library will close to the public beginning Friday, May 14 for an estimated four to five weeks.
During this time, materials will be unavailable for checkout and return. At the same time, no overdue fines will accrue and all pending due dates and account renewals will be extended until the building reopens in mid to late June.
Holds can still be placed but are unavailable for pick up until the Library reopens. Patrons are invited to visit the Library online for virtual Summer Reading and access to the calendar and online resources.
"We apologize for this inconvenience," said Library Director Denise Wallace. "But we look forward to introducing a brand new library experience to all our patrons and friends."
