FBTX ~ Coming back for its 11th consecutive year, the 2020 edition of Bloomin’ Bluegrass has been planned for Friday and Saturday, October 16 & 17 at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. Tickets are now on sale.

   Entertainment is planned to include Texas & Tennessee, Balsam Range, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, the Del McCoury Band and the Purple Hulls. The Marketplace will return this year with unique shopping opportunities and limited food vendors will be available.

   Bluegrass fans can enter to win the VIP treatment during the 2020 Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival. The winner will receive a two-night stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Galleria during the Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival - breakfast included, two weekend passes to the festival, VIP Cabana suite, which includes a decorated tent with: two (2) Adirondack chairs, three backstage meals for two guests, complimentary drinks and beer, VIP parking spot at the Historical Park, and a Souvenir Bluegrass Heritage Foundation event t-shirt. The Suitestakes ends on October 2, and the winner will be notified via email on October 5. Find out additional details and how to enter online.

   With safety of guests and staff in mind, attendance will be limited to 2,500 people per day. Temperature checks will be required at the entrance to the park and masks will be required. In addition, social circles will be drawn in the meadow to provide safe seating areas while maintaining social distancing.
