[ARCHIVED] City outlines hours for holiday weekend

Fourth of July squared

FBTX ~ Most City offices and facilities will observe the Independence Day holiday on Friday, July 3 with many offices and facilities also closed on Saturday, July 4.

   Closed on both days will be City Hall, Municipal Court, Animal Adoption Center, Historical Park and The Branch Connection. The Frog Pond water park will be open from 12 to 6 p.m. both days. The Margaret Young Natatorium will be open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Likewise, the second floor of the Community Recreation Center will be open from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The Manske Library will be open regular hours on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., but closed on Saturday, July 4.

   Trash and recycling will be collected as scheduled with Friday brush collection happening on Wednesday, July 1. The Citizen Collection Center will be open each day from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
