[ARCHIVED] Mayor Robert Dye to judge Chili Cookoff this weekend

FBTX ~ In one of the first events planned for the new Shops at Mustang Station restaurant park, Cedar Creek Brewhouse & Eatery is hosting local breweries to raise money for Metrocrest Services at the 6th Annual North Texas Craft Beer Chili Challenge on Sunday, February 23 from 12 until 5 p.m. at their new location at Valley View and Bee Street.

   This event, which has been held the past five years in Dallas, is now moving to Farmers Branch. Tickets are $10 for 10 tasting cups, with more than $10,000 already raised for the 2020 event. More than 26 teams have signed up, so far. Farmers Branch Mayor Dye is slated as one of the chili judges. Live music will be provided by Abacu5 and Paco Estrada. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door the day of the event.
