Sustainability Manager leads discussion with philanthropist

Katy with Mr Wynne

DALLAS ~ Last week, Farmers Branch Sustainability Manager Katy Evans (left) shared the stage with local restauranteur and philanthropist Shannon Wynne, leading a discussion about his journey to becoming an environmental activist.

The event took place in conjunction with a young professionals group associated with EarthX, where Ms. Evans also serves on the Board of Directors, staying on the forefront of sustainability issues.

Mr. Wynne, whose family famously founded Six Flags Over Texas, recently commissioned a short film about invasive plants in Caddo Lake, "There’s Something in the Water."
