The Laura Ingalls Wilder event is family friendly and is held the Tuesday of Thanksgiving week at the Park. Attendees celebrate fall in the spirit of Laura Ingalls Wilder and the pioneers. Activities have included a lesson in the School House, making old-fashioned crafts, and participating in tasks essential to daily life in early Farmers Branch.

Brownie Girl Scouts met badge requirements for My Family Story, while seeing history through the eyes of a pioneer girl and learning how girls of the past lived, worked, and played.

Laura Ingalls Wilder will be returning to the Historical Park on Tuesday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to noon.
