Riparian 'Grow Zone' planted by KFBB & Polk Middle School

Riparian Grow Zone planting

FBTX ~ Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful joined up with the yearbook team from Polk Middle School and Parks crew members to create a riparian "Grow Zone" along Rawhide Creek near the Farmers Branch Manske Library.

The bare ground under the trees was transformed into a healthy riparian zone that will stabilize the bank, filter the run off and better absorb the rainfall making it a win win for protecting our waterways.
