Skate Park Hours
- 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Seven Days/Week
Features
The skate park features:
- A 5' tall by 8' wide quarter pipe with a grind rail
- A 2' tall pyramid with an attached 3' bank to stairs component with railings
- A 4' tall, 12' wide, 22' long mini half pipe with a grind rail and a bank hip
- Three grind rails
- Two bank to ledge and a grind box ledge combos
- Two skate benches
Rules & Guidelines
As always, our patrons safety and well-being are very important. So for your protection and enjoyment, kindly follow the guidelines listed below:
- BMX pegs must be removed or covered
- Check bad behaviors at the gate including foul language, glass containers, tobacco and alcohol (Chapter 50 of Farmers Branch Code of Ordinance)
- In an emergency, call 9-1-1
- Inspect the park before using. For your safety, please stay off when wet, icy or other hazardous conditions exist
- Let Parks and Recreation Staff know if there is a problem by calling 972.247.4607
- Look before you go...don't drop in on others...wait your turn
- No dogs are allowed in the skate park
- No ramps, jumps, etc. from outside sources are allowed
- Permitted equipment includes skateboards, skates, razors and BMX freestyle bikes. Other equipment must be approved in writing by the Director of Parks and Recreation before use
- Please report any acts of vandalism and take care of your park so it can remain open
- Protective gear (helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards) is strongly recommended
- Report suspicious activity to the Farmers Branch Police Department at 972.484.3620
- What will close your park? Damages, abuse of equipment, graffiti and litter
