  2. CANCELED ~ Celebration of Roses

    October 20, 2018, 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM @ Gussie Field Watterworth Park Pavilion

    Farmers Branch will celebrate the roses in the gardens with an exceptional slate of activities. The day begins with free registration in the Gussie Field Watterworth Pavilion. Includes a bluegrass jam session serenading participants as they select blooms for the Hands on Floral Design Workshop. Pick up gardening tips and talk with Master Gardeners. The Dallas Rose Society Rose Show will be held in City Hall. A complementary grilled hotdog lunch will be provided along with entertainment by Augusta Road. Shuttles will provide easy access to the rose gardens throughout the day.

    Bring your young and school-aged children to trick or treat and experience the Manske Library's "Boo-Ville" area during this come and go event. Wear a costume and trick or treat at the log cabin, schoolhouse, caboose, Victorian Cottage and more.

    Per-purchase your Haunted Hedge wristband at the Community Rec Center starting Oct 22 (non-refundable). Children's activities, stage entertainment, concessions, and canned food drive sponsored by Metrocrest Services. Special trick or treat bags for children who bring two or more cans.
