Bluegrass is still Bloomin' but with a change of venue

FBTX ~ With the traditional home turf of the Farmers Branch Historical Park too waterlogged to accommodate an event, the Bloomin' Bluegrass music festival is moving to the dry confines of the Omni Park West Hotel on Luna Road at LBJ this Friday and Saturday.

This annual celebration of all things Bluegrass spans two days and features some of the biggest names in bluegrass. As capacity of the Omni is reduced, the festival will be open to existing ticket holders and guests with booked Stay & Play packages at Farmers Branch hotels. Hours are from 4:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. Headliners include Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The Del McCoury Band and more. Some Stay & Play packages may still be available but due to reduced capacity, individual tickets are no longer on sale.
