Polar Plunge
FBTX ~ With colorful costumes and steely resolve, dozens of local and area residents jumped into the icy water of the Farmers Branch Aquatics Center's Frog Pond Saturday to support Special Olympics Texas as part of the 2017 Polar Plunge.
The cold and overcast underscored the 48-degree water of the Lagoon Pool which played host to the annual challenge.
All participants raised a total of $14,000 for Special Olympics.
