FBTX ~ With increasing confidence in the National Weather Service forecast of severe storms with locally heavy rainfall, the Sustainability & Public Health Department is proactively postponing Saturday's scheduled Shredding Event to June 22 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon.

On that Saturday, residents will be able to drive up to City Hall to have household documents shredded on site by a professional document destruction firm. In conjunction with Keep Farmers Branch Beautiful, there will also be an opportunity for Textile Recycling on site. The event is designed for Farmers Branch residents only and not for businesses or business-related documents. Hours will be 9 a.m. until 12 noon.
