FBTX ~ Following the reverse auction last week, energy broker iChoosr has announced the winning electrical rate of 9.6 cents per kilowatt hour (on average) for households registered for Farmers Branch Power Switch.

All residents can bring their electric bills to Thursday night's Town Hall Meeting at the Historical Park (6 to 8 p.m.) to sit down with iChoosr representatives and find out if the new rate could save them money. Group buying power helps secure the lowest possible rate.

In two Power Switch cycles so far, more than 500 households have each saved an average of $400 annually. Registration for this cycle of Farmers Branch Power Switch remains open until May 21 at fbpowerswitch.com. There is no obligation to sign up and residents may accept or decline any rate offer
